What is Direct Mode?

Direct Mode is a new generation mode that lets you create videos using AI models directly. Instead of the multi-step guided workflow, you simply describe what you want, pick a model, and generate. The AI creates both the video and audio in one go.

Direct Mode vs Guided Mode

Klippio now offers two ways to create videos:

  • Guided Mode — The full workflow: prompt → script → multi-segment video → voiceover → export. Perfect for narrative content with narration.
  • Direct Mode — Instant generation: prompt → single video with audio. Ideal when you want raw AI-generated content without narration.

Choose Your Model

With Direct Mode, you select exactly which AI model generates your video. Each model has unique strengths:

  • Wan 2.5 — Up to 15 seconds, standard quality, great balance of speed and quality
  • Veo 3 — Up to 8 seconds, premium quality, highest fidelity output
  • Seedance v1.5 — Up to 12 seconds, budget-friendly, perfect for testing ideas
  • Ovi — Up to 5 seconds, ultra-fast generation for quick clips
  • Kling O3 & Sora 2 — Premium models for advanced use cases

Simple, Transparent Pricing

Direct Mode uses a simple per-second pricing model based on your chosen model. Before you generate, you'll see exactly how many credits it will cost. No surprises.

  • Budget models: 3 credits per second
  • Standard models: 6 credits per second
  • Premium models: 20 credits per second
